Founded in 1962, the Greater Houston Quarter Horse Association is not just for owners, riders, and exhibitors of American Quarter Horses! To support the regional horse industry as a whole, GHQHA is open to horse enthusiasts of all breeds, riding disciplines, and different levels of riding experience.

GHQHA provides quality, family-oriented all-breed open horse shows, clinics, membership meetings, and other events that foster both friendships and business relationships, promote education, support youth, and provide opportunities for competition.
